Brogdon Senate Announcement (Finally) Coming Monday
Randy Brogdon to announce decision on U.S. Senate race next week

Former Republican state Sen. Randy Brogdon will formally announce his decision concerning a U.S. Senate race on Monday, according to a spokesman.
“Randy had been working to organize a run for governor before Sen. Coburn announced his early retirement,” Louis Waller said in an email. “Since then, he’s been overwhelmed by supporters urging him to run for Senate. In the next few days, he will make his decision official.”
The email’s subject line says the announcement will be Monday.
Coburn announced in January he will leave the Senate with two years remaining on his current term. A special election, held concurrently with this year’s regular election calender, will be held to finish the unexpired portion of the term.
