Bridenstine Endorses McDugle In Open OK HD 12 Race
Bridenstine Endorses Marine Veteran McDugle for the State House
U.S. Rep. Jim Bridenstine today announced his endorsement of Republican Kevin McDugle for State House District 12. The legislative district seat stretches from Broken Arrow to rural Wagoner County.
“Kevin is a man of integrity, a combat veteran who has sacrificed for our nation in the trenches, an entrepreneur and a close friend. He is a defender of freedom, a Constitutional conservative and a man with a deep faith in our Creator. I believe he is the right person to defend Oklahoma as states’ rights have come under increasing fire from the Obama administration. I am pleased to endorse Kevin for the State House,” Bridenstine said.
The congressman will join McDugle at an event 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the American Legion Post 266 in Coweta for the announcement of his candidacy.
McDugle joined the Marine Corps infantry in 1988, after completing two years of college at Northeastern Oklahoma State University. He remained in the military eight years, serving as an airborne forward observer and in several combat zones including Bosnia, Somalia and Saudi Arabia during the First Gulf War. In 1993, he was selected to serve as a drill instructor at Parris Island, SC.
Following an honorable discharge, McDugle spent two years serving in the Oklahoma National Guard and completed his college education, earning a bachelor’s degree from Southern Nazarene University and an MBA from University of Phoenix.
McDugle is a successful entrepreneur who serves as founder, president and chief executive officer of two marketing firms. One of the companies, eXpect3 Marketing, produces several television shows in the local market and beyond.
Other endorsements include State Representatives Ken Walker, John Bennett, David Brumbaugh and Chuck Strohm along with County Representatives Lori Hendricks, Sandy Hodges and Jim Hight. Mark Tedford an entrepreneur based in Tulsa also endorses McDugle.
“I’m honored to have the endorsement of our courageous congressman who has stood in defense of freedom, even at times when he has to stand alone, McDugle said. “The congressman is a friend to combat veterans who have fought for our freedom abroad only to return home to see our freedoms eroded by Washington D.C. It is humbling as I announce my candidacy to know that I have such a solid and powerful endorsement from a hero to Constitutional conservatives across America and from state and local representatives who continue to fight for our states rights and the constitution.”
