Dorman won’t run for governor in 2018by Rick Green
Joe Dorman, the Democratic Party’s nominee for governor in 2014, said he will not run for the post in 2018.
Dorman became executive director of the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy in September and said he wants to dedicate his efforts to that organization.
“I am passionate about the work we are doing at OICA on behalf of Oklahoma children and families, and I am focusing 100 percent of my attention on those efforts,” Dorman said.
Dorman, 46, served in the Oklahoma House for 12 years.
