Tulsa Municipal Filings Begin Monday
City election filing period starts Monday

The first nonpartisan mayoral race in city history and the third in recent history between a sitting and former mayor will take shape after a three-day filing period that begins Monday.
Mayor Dewey Bartlett, former Mayor Kathy Taylor, and former City Councilor Bill Christiansen are the only announced candidates so far.
But previous mayoral campaigns have netted dozens of candidates.
Bartlett defeated 10 Republican candidates in 2009 before winning the general election over Tom Adelson, who had topped a five-candidate field of Democrats.
