Taylor, Christiansen File For Tulsa Mayor; 3 Councilors Seek Re-Election
Kathy Taylor, Bill Christiansen file for Tulsa mayor’s race

Former Mayor Kathy Taylor and former City Councilor Bill Christiansen are among three candidates who have formally filed for Tulsa’s mayoral election as of about 2 p.m. Monday, the Tulsa County Election Board reported.
City Councilor Phil Lakin filed for re-election in south Tulsa’s District 8, Councilor Jeannie Cue filed in District 2 and Councilor Karen Gilbert filed in District 5.
Clift Richards filed for re-election as city auditor, and Ron Peters, Brandon Perkins and Don Crall have filed to replace District 3 Tulsa County Commissioner Fred Perry, who is resigning.
Taylor, 57, a Democrat, was mayor from 2006 to 2009 but chose not to run for re-election after serving one term.
