OKLAHOMA CITY – The Senate on Tuesday passed three abortion bills.
House Bill 2015 would substantially increase what information physicians performing abortions are required to report to the Oklahoma State Department of Health and put in a website without identifying the woman.
Sen. Kyle Loveless, R-Oklahoma City, said House Bill 2015 is needed to ensure physicians are complying with recently enacted laws governing abortion.
Questions ranged from issues such as the evacuation of the fetus from the womb to who determined the sex of the fetus prior to the abortion.
