OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The chairman of the Oklahoma Democratic Party says former Gov. Brad Henry has looked into whether he’s eligible for a third term for governor, believing that a change made in the state’s term limits law while Henry was in office doesn’t apply to him.

Chairman Wallace Collins said Thursday he asked the former two-term governor if he planned to run against Republican Gov. Mary Fallin next year. He said Henry didn’t confirm or deny any plans but told Collins he would be eligible for a third term.
