Lankford Legislative Update Slated For Thursday

CONGRESSMAN LANKFORD TO GIVE LEGISLATIVE UPDATE AT HEBERT W. ARMSTRONG COLLEGE

Public encouraged to attend to hear the latest legislative update

OKLAHOMA CITY (October 21, 2013)- Congressman Lankford will deliver his legislative updates at Herbert W. Armstong College (HWAC) in Edmond on Thursday, October 31 from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Congressman Lankford will address issues that will be discussed during this legislative session during a twenty minute speech followed by a question and answer session.

“The current political climate is constantly evolving and it is vital that we stay informed,” Shane Granger, marketing director of Armstrong Auditorium said. “This is made possible through informative events such as Congressman Lankford’s legislative update and we are looking forward to hosting him at the end of this month.”

Topics that are likely to be addressed are the government shutdown and upcoming issues, leadership role in the House, and importance of students engaging with their community and peers. The legislative update is open to the public but seating will be first come, first serve.
