Broken Arrow’s aggressive economic plan paying off

BROKEN ARROW - Officials predict 2014 will be a banner year for economic development in Broken Arrow.
With more than a dozen sites available for development and an aggressive recruiting strategy by the city and the Broken Arrow Economic Development Corp., announcements of numerous new businesses coming to the city are expected this year.
The completion of the Rose District streetscape and the opening of a Warren Theatre and Sprouts Farmers Market this year will also help.
“Retail follows retail,” said Warren Unsicker, vice president of the Economic Development Corp.
As large businesses such as Warren Theatres come to the city, others start paying attention, officials said.
