Oklahoma tornadoes: House gives final approval to tornado relief

The Oklahoma House has given final approval to legislation that dips into the state’s constitutional reserve fund to help central Oklahoma communities impacted by devastating tornadoes.
Without debate, the House voted 95-0 Thursday for the measure that appropriates $45 million from the state’s Rainy Day Fund for tornado relief. The bill passed the Senate on Wednesday by a vote of 45-0.
