Bridenstine radio ad slams Taylor as ‘Obama candidate for mayor’

U.S. Rep. Jim Bridenstine, R-Okla., has jumped into the middle of the Tulsa mayor’s race, airing a radio ad praising Mayor Dewey Bartlett and calling former Mayor Kathy Taylor “the Obama candidate for mayor.”

The ad was paid for by Friends of Jim Bridenstine Inc., the congressman’s 2014 campaign fund.

Gabe Sherman, who heads up Bridenstine’s Tulsa office, did not respond Monday to an email seeking comment on the ad.

During the 60-second radio spot, Bridenstine accuses Taylor of making vicious attacks against Bartlett and then goes on to make accusations against Taylor.
