Fallin: Agencies Should Prepare For Cutbacks in 2015
Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin says agencies should prepare for potential cutbacks

Gov. Mary Fallin said Wednesday state agencies should prepare for cutbacks as a $300 million budget hole looms.
That hole could grow larger when a new estimate is released next month, she said.
The decline in the price of oil is resulting in less tax revenue from energy companies.
“Agencies should be looking for ways to be more efficient, to eliminate programs that are ineffective, to eliminate wasteful spending, or ways to combine services so they can save money,” Fallin said at an Associated Press forum in the state Capitol.
