Gov. Mary Fallin to Kick Off Fourth Annual Feeding Oklahoma Food Drive
OKLAHOMA CITY – Governor Mary Fallin tomorrow will kick off her fourth annual Feeding Oklahoma Food Drive. The statewide food drive runs from Tuesday, Oct. 1 through Thursday, Oct. 31. At the kick-off event, the governor will talk about this year’s goal of raising enough food to provide 1.4 million meals.
The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City and the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma – and their affiliates – are partnering with the governor again for the food drive. Officials from both groups will be at the kick off event.
