TULSA — Nothing’s ever a dead lock in politics, but Senator Jim Inhofe can likely rest easy going into Tuesday’s midterm elections, as least as far as his own campaign goes.
Seeking a record fifth term as a US Senator from Oklahoma, he leads Democrat Matt Silverstein by a substantial margin in late polling.
Friday, he told KRMG “at 7:30 on election night, I’m going to be making a major announcement in terms of campaigns that I think is going to answer a lot of questions that people have today.”
Asked if he could give any hints, he answered with a flat “no.”
