Major Ed Pulido Endorses James Lankford for U.S. Senate

Oklahoma City- Major Ed Pulido, U.S. Army (Ret.), is supporting Congressman James Lankford as the best candidate to carry on the honorable legacy of Dr. Tom Coburn and stand up for a strong United States military.

Oklahoman and distinguished veteran, Major Pulido released the following statement endorsing Lankford:

“James Lankford has represented me, my family and our nation’s military to the highest degree in Congress and we need his leadership in the U.S. Senate. I know firsthand the influence good policy can have on our military strength and effectiveness. James’ commitment to thoughtful deliberation, diligent study and selfless service makes him not only the most qualified candidate for U.S. Senate but the leader who will provide real solutions for current service members, veterans and their families.”

“Major Pulido is truly a great American hero and it is an honor to have his support,” Lankford said.

After retiring from a 19-year career in the U.S. Army, Major Pulido has dedicated himself to honoring active service members, fallen and wounded veterans, and their families through Warriors for Freedom, Folds of Honor Foundation and Pros 4 Vets.

With wide experience within and outside of the U.S. Army, Major Pulido believes James Lankford is the best candidate to fight in the Senate for supporting our troops.

“Our federal government must continue to support national security as the number one priority,” Lankford said, “Our men and women in uniform must know their communities and government are fully standing behind them while they are on the front lines and when they come home.”
