Pikepasses could cover Dallas tolls
By WORLD CAPITOL BUREAU
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Pikepasses may soon be operable in the Dallas area, the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority said Wednesday.
The North Texas Tollway Authority on Wednesday passed a resolution allowing it and the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority to become “interoperable” on the agencies’ toll roads.
The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is expected to pass a similar resolution at its monthly meeting on Oct. 31.
The North Texas Tollway Authority operates three toll roads: the Dallas North Tollway, George Bush Turnpike and the Sam Rayburn Tollway. It also operates two toll bridges and small toll tunnel.
