Shannon Picks Up Citizens United Endorsement

T.W. Shannon Receives Endorsement from Citizens United

LAWTON, OK  — The Citizens United Political Victory Fund (CUPVF), the affiliated PAC of Citizens United, issued the following statement today supporting conservative candidate T.W. Shannon in Oklahoma’s U.S. Senate Republican Primary.

“T.W. Shannon is a man of faith who will fight for our core conservative principles and ideals,” said David N. Bossie, President of Citizens United. “The Sooner State has a great opportunity to nominate a true conservative to fill the big shoes of Senator Tom Coburn. T.W.’s beliefs will not be swayed by the Washington, D.C. culture, and he will always look out for his constituents by confronting Big Government at every turn. I urge all Oklahomans to vote for T.W. Shannon on June 24th.”

Responding to the endorsement, Shannon said, “I am honored to receive this endorsement from Citizens United, an organization that shares my vision of reducing the size and scope of government, cutting spending, lowering taxes, promoting traditional family values and winning the war on terror.”

Citizens United is the latest in a growing list of conservative endorsements for T.W. Shannon. Since announcing his campaign for U.S. Senate, T.W. has received endorsements from national and Oklahoma conservative leaders such as U.S. Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, Governor Sarah Palin, Dr. Ben Carson, Oklahoma State Treasurer Ken Miller, the Senate Conservatives Fund, conservative commentator Mark Levin, Erick Erickson from RedState, 47 of his GOP colleagues in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, and four past Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce Presidents, among others.
