VOTE: Jenks Student Film Is C-SPAN ‘StudentCam’ Finalist

There’s still time to vote for a local student’s film as “fan favorite” in C-SPAN’s Student Cam 2015 competition.

McKinleigh Lair, a student in Clifton Raphael’s film class at Jenks High School, is one of five national finalists for the competition. She won’t know how she finished nationally until Wednesday.

If her film, “Dam It Tulsa! Fix the River,” receives enough votes, it could be named the “fan favorite” and she would receive an additional $500 prize. Vote onlineĀ  through Friday (Feb. 27) at bit.ly/voteformckinleigh So far, the film has more than 100,000 votes.
