OKLAHOMA CITY – A group of Oklahoma legislators have called for a press conference to be held tomorrow to discuss State Question 640 and how it applies to tax reductions over the last 22 years.
Who: State Reps. Leslie Osborn, Jon Echols, Tom Newell, Mike Sanders and others; state Sens. Kyle Loveless, David Holt and others; along with Jonathan Small, CPA, of the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs.
What: Media availability to discuss how much an Oklahoma Supreme Court ruling suddenly applying State Question 640 to all tax reductions passed in the state since 1992 would end up costing Oklahoma families, single mothers, retirees, military veterans, wounded veterans, small business owners, private-sector employers, aerospace engineers, agriculturalists and spouses of military service members killed in action.
